Well over 1000 online exams have been given since the program started in April 2012. The new format tasting exam continues to be well received, and passing rates are high. All legacy exams were closed last year. The new format exam has reduced the average grading time from about 150 days to about 100 days. While this is greatly improved, the turnaround time needs to be reduced to about 60 days before current exam quotas can be relaxed. The exam program is adding more staff, and looking at ways of speeding up the grading process. Performance metrics are being tracked, and the exam program is regularly reviewed.
