The Finance Director is responsible for assisting the Treasurer by handling the day-to-day financial operations of the organizations. Specific duties include:
- Bookkeeping
- Financial Reporting
- Making Payments
- Tax reporting and payments
- Managing moneys of the organization
- Acting as a member of the Finance Committee
Treasurer responsibilities are described in the BJCP Bylaws. Budgeting and authorizing payments are retained by the Treasurer. Other Treasurer duties may be assigned to the Finance Director at the discretion of the Treasurer.
