Registration for final round judging and stewarding at NHC in Minneapolis is now open. If you’ve already signed up to judge at a first round competition, all you need to do is log into system and set the drop down next to Final Round Judging to Yes. For those of you who have not signed up for a first round judging session, simply go to the website and use the link to the right of the page to create a profile. Please be sure to include your BJCP ID, Rank, and Mead Credentials.
Final Round judging will take place on Thursday June 15th at 8:30am and noon, followed by the BOS round. Judges need not communicate their BOS availability. Flights are targeted at about 5 to 8 entries per a pair of judges, and we will be using the checklist scoresheet for beer entries. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Changes this year will include mead & cider category judging in both the morning and afternoon sessions. For those of you who haven’t been to a NHC Final Round judging in the past two years, we now judge beer categories in both the morning and afternoon sessions so please sign up for both if available.
Don’t miss out on this event! If you aren’t able to travel to different competitions regularly, this is an excellent opportunity to experience how others do things. Plus there’s nothing like seeing what it takes to get 200+ judges going per session.
