Education Director Bruce Buerger is very happy to announce that former Education Director and current professional brewer Kristen England will be returning to the Education and Training Directorate in the newly created Education Liaison role. This newly created position is an expansion of the Regional Trainer Coordinator role that will expand to a global focus and work with the Assistant Regional Reps (ARR) and local members on training initiatives.
This new position:
- reports to the Education director.
- serves as a global training coordinator in relation to educational components of conferences and events that partner with the BJCP.
- helps to facilitate education courses, continuing education programs both primary and secondary (tertiary).
- provides resources and direction.
- serves as the functional arm of Education and Training Directorate.
- ensures proper use of current material.
Kristen will be the point person for coaching and reviewing BJCP member submitted courses going forward..
