South Rep Phil Farrell retired from the board, creating a vacancy. On the recommendation of Phil, BJCP President Gordon Strong proposed and the BJCP Board approved the appointment of Sal Mortillaro II to serve as the South Representative until the region’s next election in 2021 (per the BJCP bylaws). Sal is a Grand Master judge from Mandeville, LA, and active exam grader, a GABF judge, and was serving as an Assistant Rep for the South region prior to his appointment.
