Mid-Atlantic Representative Fred Mullner nominated Andrew Melchers as Mid-Atlantic Assistant Regional Representative. He provided a bio:
Andrew is currently serving both his second term as President and 15th term as Minister of Propaganda (club communications) of the Bloatarian Brewing League (BBL) in Cincinnati, Ohio. He achieved National rank in 2012. He’s served as exam director, proctor, and led BJCP training classes as well as organizing numerous competitions over the years, including Beer & Sweat, “the largest keg-only homebrew competition in the world!” He’s been successfully homebrewing since 2004. When he’s not brewing Saison or Porter, or enjoying a fine beer, he’s probably out running trail ultramarathons.
